Powerhoop’s large diameter makes it easy to use, even for those who never “hooped” before. The wavy interior profile helps to quickly build a body armour of protective core muscle. High-density foam padding makes Powerhoop comfortable to use, while the shape, size and weight create a versatile fitness tool that can be used in a variety of dance, aerobics, and stretching exercises. Weighted workout hoops are meant to challenge the core muscles, causing them to become firmer, stronger and more protective, but this is a process that takes several days of gradually increasing the amount of hooping time. Beginners who overdo will notice soreness and even bruising, which is uncomfortable, unnecessary, and gives hooping a bad name. In addition, there are certain conditions that are contraindicated for hooping, like pregnancy and taking blood thinning medication.

A 40 minute powerhoop workout will consist of:-

  • 5 minute warm up
  • total of 15 minutes actual hooping at intervals
  • total of 15 minutes upper and lower body work
  • 5 minute cool down
